Start your day with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Chiang Mai at 7:30 am. If you prefer a unique local experience, pre-book the option to visit the lively Sanpatong Buffalo Market on Saturdays, requiring an early 7:00 am pickup. Your adventure begins with a journey to Thailand's highest mountain, where you'll take a short, scenic walk along the Angkha Nature Trail. Next, visit the stunning Royal Pagodas, dedicated to the King and Queen. For those who enjoy a more challenging hike, the Mae Klang Luang Trail offers a longer walk through picturesque landscapes, including seasonal rice paddies.
Continue your exploration with a visit to the beautiful Pa Dok Siew Waterfall and a nearby Karen village, where you can learn about the traditional lifestyle of the Karen people (not the long neck tribe). Enjoy a delicious lunch featuring local cuisine before heading to the breathtaking Wachiratharn Waterfall. Note: A good level of fitness will be required to complete the trek. The trek involves walking up and down steep paths and along jungle tracks. This trek will not be suitable for the elderly.
