Doi Suthep is the most famous of Chiang Mai's temples and its most prominent sitting at 1685 meters above the city. Nestled on a small sub peak on Doi Pui mountain the temple affords spectacular views across the city and beyond. Even for those who are not temple buffs the view is worth the trip alone. Following Doi Suthep we will take the winding road back down the mountain to see two more of Chiang Mai's important temples; Wat Pra Singh and Wat Chedi Luang. After a leisurely buffet lunch at The Tiger Kingdom (You will have time to play with the fully grown tigers or tiger cubs if you choose) we will proceed out to the 5 hill tribe village where you will meet The Karen Long Neck (Padaung) Akha and Lahu among others residing at this village.
