Spend a night in the quaint town of Pai neatly nestled in the Pai river valley. You will see one of northern Thailand's' most beautiful waterfalls as well as Pong Duet Hot Springs on the road to Pai. while in Pai you will see some of the attractions surrounding this town as well as trying your hand at bamboo rafting.

TOUR DESCRIPTION

Day 1 - Chiang Mai to Pai 

Your two-day Pai excursion will start with your pick up at your Chiang Mai accommodation and we will depart on the road which heads north out of the city. Our first stop will be at the Elephant Poo Poo Paper Park where you can see the manufacture of paper products from elephant poo!! Those who are interested in getting into the cage with fully grown tigers can stop at Chiang Mai's Tiger Kingdom venue. The road will continue north and before the road starts to wind its way up the mountains we will stop at the stunningly beautiful Mok Fah Waterfall. Most of the year the pool at the base of the waterfall is deep enough for a refreshing swim so bring your swimsuit! the drive will continue up into the mountains before descending down into the Pai River valley. We will pass over the iconic Pai iron bridge which has become a favorite photo stop. If you want to grab a couple of photos here let our guide know and we will stop there. Lunch will be had in Pai town and then we will transfer you to your hotel. Pai is a place to hang so take it easy for the rest of the late afternoon or take a walk around this pleasant little town. In the evening the little main street comes alive with a market frequented by visitors and locals, this is a great place to grab a bite to eat as there is a large choice of restaurants and street food offerings there.

Day 2 - Pai to Chiang Mai

Day two will begin when our guide and driver team collects you from your Pai accommodation. We will make a trip up the hill just outside of town to Mae Yen Temple. The views are good here and you see over the town and across the Pai river valley. If you are feeling adventurous then you can try your hand at bamboo rafting on the Pai river, if you do this activity be prepared to pilot yourselves downriver. We will take lunch in town before getting back on the road. Just outside of town we will stop at Pai Canyon and We will stop at one of Pai's many surrounding waterfalls Pam Bok. our last stop on the route to Chiang Mai will be at Pong Duet Hot Springs. Here you can take a hot spring bath in one of the hot spring pools that are available there. The tour will end when we drive the final leg back to Chiang Mai and drop you at your Chiang Mai hotel.
