Whether you are a boxing
fan or not it is worth catching the spectacle
of a Thai boxing (Muay Thai) match while
you are in Chiang Mai. As in most cities
around Thailand Chiang Mai has its own Thai
boxing stadium and this is where to go experience
the real thing!
You can also see Thai boxing in Chiang
Mai at both the Moon Muang Beer Bar Center
and The Loi Kroh Beer bar Center. These
bouts are put on especially for the tourists
but usually the young Thai boxers are fighting
it out for pride even if it is with a little
less gusto than you will find at The Gawila
boxing stadium. |
